The Glo Pals were born from a heartwarming story of a child with autism whose mother sought a creative way to help him overcome his fear of water. Using the innovative technology behind Glo Pals®, she helped transform bath time into a fun and engaging sensory experience. Inspired by this remarkable journey, Glo Pals® developed characters that encourage children to dive into sensory play, all while brightening up their bath time. Each Glo Pal is designed with its own unique personality, celebrating the individuality that makes every child special.
Meet the Glo Pals® Characters:
Lumi (Purple): “Bonjour! You can call me Lumi, short for lumière, the French word for ‘light’. I love creating vibrant, colorful art like you might see at the Louvre, but nothing inspires me more than playing with you! Drop me in the tub, and together we’ll create a masterpiece!”
Blair (Turquoise Blue): “I’m Blair, your adventure buddy! I love exploring new places with my pals and using my imagination to take us anywhere. While new experiences can be a bit scary sometimes, don’t worry—when I’m with you, anything is possible! Let’s light up the tub and start our journey!”
Pippa (Green): “Hi, it’s me—Pippa! My pals call me ‘pipsqueak’ because I’m the smallest of the group, but I know that great things come in small packages. My glasses help me read tiny words, and reading is my favorite thing, right after playing with you! Drop me in the bath, and let’s have some fun.”
Sammy (Red): “I’m Sammy, but my friends call me ‘Slanky’ because of my long, lanky legs. They might make me a little clumsy, but they also help me run fast! I’m the MVP of every game, and now it’s game time—just dunk me in the bath, and let the fun begin!”
Alex (Yellow): “Hi! I’m Alex, and I’m here to bring some sunshine into your day! I’m always ready to brighten the mood and cheer up my friends when things get a little cloudy. Drop me in the bath, and I’ll be your very own ray of sunshine!”
In addition to the classic Glo Pals, the brand has also expanded with special collections featuring beloved characters like Sesame Street and Daniel the Tiger from Netflix. These character-based Glo Pals® bring even more excitement to bath time and sensory play.
